The desire to create our fingerprint impression jewellery came from my own motherhood and grief journey.

I was wanting that holds the physical natural indent of your loved ones fingerprint. Each piece of jewellery embodies sentiment and enduring love.

I feel incredibly grateful to be able to offer a unique design using natural wax, personalisation of gemstones and a safeguard guarantee.

At Poppy Mac, we treat this responsibility as a special honour. Our handmade fingerprint jewellery is crafted to become a tangible, grounding anchor you can wear each day.

The Process

Step 1

Place your order.

Select Safeguard Guarantee if preferred, for peace of mind.

Step 2

A Fingerprint Impression Kit will be sent express post to you within 1-2 business days.

Step 3

Follow the instructions in the kit.

Step 4

Return your impression kit with our included pre-paid express post return post mailer.

Step 5

You will receive an email when we have started creating your impression.

Step 6

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with postal tracking that your treasure is being delivered to you.

FAQs

Once you've placed your order, we will mail you Fingerprint Impression Kit. Follow the instructions in the kit, and using the included return mailer, send your impression back to us.

Yes, we recommend waiting until your little ones are 12 months old as their fingerprints are still developing before this.

Alternatively, if you would like to capture a sentimental piece for a newborn and tiny infants, we highly recommend an impression of their little finger creases or fingernails, which capture beautifully from birth!

Allow up to 4 weeks from the day we receive your fingerprint kit back at our studio.

Every single piece of Poppy Mac Jewellery is proudly and intentionally handmade right here in the Southern Highlands, Australia.

Fingerprint Impression jewellery uses the Lost Wax Casting method, this means wax designs are sent to our casting house in Sydney, Australia. From there they use the natural wax design to create a mould for precious metal.

The raw cast is then sent back to us in our studio.

Safeguard Guarantee is our unique offer that gives you extra peace of mind. When you purchase your Fingerprint Impression Kit you have the option to include a silicone mould with each order.

This ensures that if you ever loose your impression jewellery, you can recreate your impression again.

If the fingerprint is larger than the size guide (like an adult thumbprint), experiment with which part of the fingerprint you would like to capture.
