Poppy Mac began when I was quietly lost, searching for something to creatively ground me. It was through conversations with other women that I realised we were all needing the same thing: a tangible anchor, a reminder. I realised the moments that shape us shouldn't just live in our memories, they deserve to be carried, and to centre us, each day.
During my own season of grief and motherhood, I handcrafted a piece of jewellery I could physically hold. I found comfort in having something to centre myself with, a quiet reminder that I was okay, and stronger than I gave myself credit for.
From there, Poppy Mac became my way of carrying love forward, one handcrafted piece at a time.

I personally design and create each piece myself, working with sterling silver, 9ct gold, recycled precious metals and ethically sourced stones to create Australian-made jewellery with meaning.

I named my jewellery business in memory of my adored grandfather, 'Poppy Mac' (Norm McDonald, 1921-2017).
